DIRECTED Launches Low-Current DS4 System - Latest Addition to Celebrated DS4 Lineup a Perfect Choice for Newer Vehicles

LAS VEGAS, Nevada. (January 11, 2018) – Directed today announced a new addition to the growing DS4 product line. The new DS4 is a low-current version of its big brother, the DS4+, which launched last year. Both systems feature Bluetooth connectivity, free smartphone control and the ability to be configured as either remote start or remote start with security. The DS4 is designed for new cars which don't require the on-board high current relays of the DS4+, saving added expense.

"Installers will appreciate this customized option for newer vehicles which operate with low current relays. As with the groundbreaking DS4+, the simplified install and free Driveway Range Bluetooth smartphone control will drive demand at retail."

All of the data, input/output, auxiliary relay and D2D connections are exactly the same as the DS4+. This makes the DS4 compatible with DS4+ accessories and most of Directed's expanding T-Harness lineup.

Directed will begin shipping this DS4 product in the first quarter.
